Growing up in Montana, Amy had a passion for interior design at a young age.  Her portfolio began at age 10 with sketches of floor plans of her future home.  Rearranging her friends bedroom furniture and “re-decorating” their rooms became a favorite past time.  During high school Amy set her sights on becoming an interior designer.  After graduating she moved to Seattle to attend the Interior Design program at the Art Institute of Seattle.   Upon completion of her degree she began her career in the stone industry working with discriminating clientele.    After working in the Oregon Tile and Marble showroom for four years, Amy set her sights on learning more about the textile side of the industry.    She worked the next few years for the Carlyle Company, a furniture and fabrics showroom in the Seattle Design Center and then for the Kreiss Collection, a  custom furniture Gallery, assisting clients to create their ideal space plans with custom furniture and accessories.

After moving to Anchorage Alaska in 2000,  Amy returned to her passion, designing with stone.  She joined the team of Glacier Granite and Marble Company,  to not only assist clients in their stone selections, but to also play a key role in the design /build of a new 17,000 facility.    Over the next four years the new showroom and fabrication facility  were  completed and a new found love of retail design had emerged.   In 2004 Amy joined a high end residential remodel firm, as their principal interior designer, and helped them to complete their new showroom space.    Amy worked with both residential remodel clients as well as several commercial remodel projects.

In 2006 Amy founded her own interior design company, A. Moore Interior design, while simultaneously filling the role of Principal Interior designer for a new division of Trailboss Enterprises, Trailboss Solutions. Over the next 4 years Amy designed for, not only high end residential clients, but also completed projects in the retail, restaurant, and healthcare sectors.

In 2010, Amy and her husband returned to the Seattle area, after 10 successful years in Alaska.  They now reside in Bremerton WA where Amy has re-established  A. Moore Interior Design. Amy will be servicing both residential and commercial clients in Alaska and Washington
